Kabuyanda is a multipurpose dam envisaged for agriculture (paddy rice and likely to include maize, pulses and vegetables for local markets), as well as water supply for municipality and for the livestock.

- Powerhouse (IP = 0.2 MW, Francis Turbine)
- Irrigation Scheme (A = 4203 ha)
