Description for Limonlu Hydropower (Turkey)
Limonlu HPP comprises 4 power plants in cascade to be constructed in 2 phases on the Lamas River: Phase 1 = 50 MW and Phase 2 = 26 MW.
The Phase 1 works comprise Lamas III and Lamas IV plants:
- Weir ( H = 8 m, L = 40 m )
- Power Tunnels ( L = 5 km, D = 3 m )
- Surge Tank ( H = 16 m, D = 12 m )
- Penstocks ( No. 2, L_tot = 3 km; D = 2-1 m )
- Power Houses ( No. 2 Francis turbines; 2 x 15 MW; 2 x 10 MW )
- Roads ( L = 8 km )
- HV Transmission Line ( V = 154 kV; L = 1.2 km )
