A multi-purpose project with power generation and flood moderation located in the northeast of India   The project is a hydroelectric power plant (IP = 2880 MW) located on the Dibang river, one of the major tributaries of the Brahmaputra. The river originates on the southern banks of the Himalaya mountains in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in the northeast of India. The plant utilizes the available net head created by the dam (DH = 222 m) to achieve a notable annual production average (E = 11,233 GWh/y). The dam is a gravity RCC structure, 278 m high, that will become the world’s highest and largest RCC dam once completed. The scope of works under this assignment includes all civil works under Lot -3 (RCC Main Dam, Spillway, Plunge Pool, RCC Cofferdams, etc.). PLACE CLIENT YEAR  Dibang, India
