The tender was launched for the restoration works for the Medau Dam

Studio Pietrangeli has completed for the Autonomous Region of Sardinia the executive design of the restoration works of the barriers of the Medau Zirimillis basin, in the city of Siliqua, Sardinia.
The basin of the Medau Zirimilis consists of the main dam, 53 m in height and of a secondary dam (Carru Segau), 27 m in height.
The design of this intervention consists mainly in the water proofing of more than 80,000 mq2 of the upper vestments of both dams, by installing a geo membrane composed of PVC material and a drainage system.
